Research on trade barriers

BSN was selected by UNECE – the Economic Commission for the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe to conduct in-depth studies in 60 prominent domestic export/import companies on all commercial procedures that complicate business and imply high or completely unnecessary costs.

The survey will be conducted in direct interviews with export/import sector managers and will be used to determine procedural knots for the Ministry of Trade, Telecommunications and Tourism who will then have clear picture which trade procedures need to be changed, simplified or abolished. The ultimate goal of UNECE activities is to help the Government of the Republic of Serbia to facilitate the process of exporting and importing and support raising the competitiveness of Serbian companies on the foreign markets.

The first results of the research are expected during the first quarter of 2019.
