BSN Delegation Visits Industrial and Trade Chamber of Munich and Upper Bavaria
On February 3, business delegation from Serbia made of Milan Vučković, partner in BSN, Nikola Panović, president of metal Cluster from Serbia “West Metal Group” and director general of Pankomerc company and Nebojša Bondžulić, sales director in Pankomerc company, an active BSN member, visited Industrial and Trade Chamber of Munich and Upper Bavaria (“IHK München und Oberbayern”).
The delegation was met by Mr. Joseph Seybold, in charge of Transport and Logistics in IHK, Mr. Alexander Lau, leader of European department and Philipp Axamit from IHK’s international relations sector.
In an open conversation members of the Serbian delegation informed their colleagues from Bavarian Chamber on the current trends in business cooperation between Serbia and Germany, and more specifically, Bavaria, as well as about the upcoming founding of the Railway Cluster for Southearstern Europe, which attracted the special attention of the hosts.
Serbian delegation used the opportunity to propose closer cooperation in the metal manufacturing sector with the Bavarian IHK members. Nikola Panović invited colleagues and representatives of German metal sector to visit western Serbia as guests. On the other hand, Bavarian delegation expressed an interest in intensifying the cooperation between two economies and to improve technology and IT sector, which have a high unused potential for cooperation.
Finally, Bavarian delegation invited representatives of the Rail Cluster for Southeast Europe to attend the large business conference for Western Balkans to be held in autumn 2016, and to speak on the current situation in this sector, but also to host a B2B meeting of representatives of the cluster with representatives from Bavarian Railway Cluster.
Bavaria is a market of over 12 million people. In trade with this region (734 mil EUR in 2014) Serbia records a constant surplus.
